  • The main aim of this group project was to come up with an intervention for an on-going social issue

  •  We created a card game called IDK which aims to strengthen the social connection between individuals facing loneliness.

  • There are two decks of cards, a question card and an action card, it is similar to cards against humanity, however, it consists of more personal questions.

  • I was contributed through designing the product from scratch and helping to design the logo for the product.

Project Management

  • IT application has taught me how to create posters using platforms such as Photoshop and canva. I have used these skills to create posters for marketing and publicity in my other modules such as project management whereby we had to create posters regarding Singapore Fashion Runway.

  • It has taught me the fundamentals of a poster and how to properly design it to attract the various age groups.

  • I learnt how to design poster using canva and photoshop, this allowed me to hone my skills in designing. 

Law and Governance of social enterprise

Video Editing and Interview Skills

  • The purpose of this video is to do an infographic video addressing a social issue

  • In this video, I addressed the challenges single mothers face in seeking public housing (e.g affordability) and the negative stigma against them.

  • Through this video, I got to interview a single mother and shared her challenges through the video.

  • Through this experience, I gained skills such as editing using premiere pro to further emphasize on the important statistics and sourcing for beneficiaries to interview. This allowed me to hone my interviewing skills on a professional level such as phrasing my words sensitively when asking a question.

Essay Writing Skills

  • The purpose of this essay was to research Singapore's governance in relation to social enterprises.

  • In this essay, I analyzed the laws and regulations of starting a social enterprise in Singapore and compared them to the governance of Social Enterprises in Hong Kong to suggest ways to better support social enterprises in Singapore.

  • Through this essay, I learnt critical analysis skills such as comparing population size and economy based on the countries to effectively draw up a conclusion.
